As Eta Iota and Embry-Riddle continue to expand, the House Corporation and Chapter face new challenges in improving the house and providing for future contingencies . Over the last year, we have made significant progress in the infrastructure. In 2015, we have an equally aggressive project plan that not only continues upgrades to the infrastructure but also replaces and enlarges the north deck and stairs, refacing the front columns and replacing sandstone decking and stairs in the back
Enter Eta Iota's 1855 Club. A simple, yet potentially substantial continuous-giving program to support regular contributions to a long-term improvement plan. (The 1855 Club is the fund referred to in the House Corporation bylaws as the Capital Improvement Fund.)
The principle is basic and you have several options:
The benefits are simple. With a balanced mix of on-going contributions of various amounts, the power of compounding interest can make this the primary source of funding for all potential options. We have raised over $500,000 with The 1855 Club and it continues to grow monthly. If we continue to increase membership, this will assist us tremendously as we make significant infrastructure improvements to ensure the long-term viability of the property. Realize, however, that we have an aggressive goal ahead of us and we need your support in this effort to make it work. Please, sign up today, and provide your House Corporation the support it will need for tomorrow.
